Previous internship or work experience: In Phoenix, I’ve interned for Arizona Highways Television as well as Vicinity Films, a small production company that produced “Seed Spot: The Documentary.” I reported for two international projects for the Cronkite Borderlands Initiative, as well as directed and worked on three award-winning documentaries.

Favorite reporting experience: This past spring, I visited Chiapas, Mexico to photograph for various stories for the Cronkite Borderlands Initiative. Being able to see and photograph a completely different way of life was life-changing.
